We set out to create a place that felt like a “Community Living Room”—a bridge where the history of Casco Viejo could meet the future without leaving the neighborhood behind. By connecting four historic properties, we worked to restore a piece of Panama’s heart that simply deserved to be cared for again. One of our favorite parts of this journey was working with our neighbors. Instead of seeing the building’s occupants as obstacles, we spent years in conversation to find better paths forward together. We also invited the Danilo Pérez Foundation to make the building its permanent home, ensuring that local music remains the heartbeat of the project.
